Cage-A-Day is a collection of 100 hand-drawn portraits of Nicolas Cage inspired by his films and appearances. This project all started for the love of Nicolas Cage and for not taking life so seriously.
Minting starts on April 29th, celebrating the recently released The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent–the most Nicolas Cage film ever created. We feel that launching this project is the proper way to celebrate.

As if the art wasn’t fun enough on its own, we’ve gone overboard with adding special traits and properties for each portrait. The properties don’t go live until 24 hours after each portrait has been dropped, so you have a WHOLE DAY to try and guess what movie it was from, and how rare each prop might be. Remember, each drop is only mintable for 24 hours, so you can finally tell your friends that your Jeopardy-style Cage trivia you’ve been hiding away may actually come in handy.
About the team
Madelin Woods and Jana Lee only collaborate on the wildest of internet dreams and only on projects that make us chuckle. Together, we came up with the idea to spread the joy of Nicolas Cage and see where a community of weirdos gathered by our affinity for his art would go. It turns out there are a lot of Nicolas Cage enthusiasts out there.
Cage-A-Day is just the beginning. We plan to explore what fandom looks like in web3 and how collaborative art can build from a place of fun and joy. We hope you come play with us.
About the Artist
Madelin Woods is an inventor, artist, and entrepreneur. The Cage-A-Day project was initially born out of the first year of the #100dayproject in 2014, a social experiment to do one thing every day for 100 days. Drawing Nicolas Cage with a sharpie on printer paper every day for 100 days changed her life.

How are you handling carbon emissions?
We aren’t serious people, but we take this p seriously. After the 100-day project concludes, we will offset all contract deployment and initial Cage mints through Aerial. We’ll share our offset certificate with the community.
